FREE NETWORKING EVENT TO HELP INTERNS AND NEW PROFESSIONALS CONNECT WITH THEIR PEERS!
The Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce is committed to creating an environment that welcomes and develops new professionals! Attendees will enjoy a tour of Muskegon's scenic shoreline while connecting with area interns and new professionals in a fun atmosphere.
Event description:
Event begins and ends at the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber of Commerce
Trolley tour from 3:30 - 5pm, will end at the dedication of The Turning Point (snurfer) sculpture, honoring the invention of the snowboard by Muskegon's own Sherman 'Sherm' Poppen.
Following the dedication, attendees of the Meet & Greet will receive complementary admission to the Chamber's Annual Celebration of Business reception (5:30-8:00pm), to celebrate Sherm's induction to the Business Hall of Fame. The reception, titled the Sushi Snurfertini Social, will feature heavy hors d'oeuvres, live music, photo opportunities with the inventor of the snurfer/snowboard, and a cash bar.

Students currently interning at local businesses and new professionals in their first or second year of employment.
