Event Description: David Ingall, author of Glory, valor & sacrifice : Michigan sites significant to the Civil War, comes to Hackley Library to talk about his book and to sign copies. The book is “a comprehensive guidebook to Michigan Civil War sites "featuring: landmarks, markers, monuments, buildings, exhibits, forts, graves." Mr. Ingall did some of his research in the Muskegon area. This should be a very interesting talk! Brought to you through the generosity of the PNC Foundation. David is a Michigan native and a past assistant director of the Monroe County Historical Museums. He has done research on the War of 1812, the Civil War, and General George Armstrong Custer.
