Western Ave Muskegon, Mi 49440 Phone: 231-672-3201 Event Description: Join us on Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Heritage Landing for the Walk for Diabetes. This year you can also bring your bike a take a Ride for Diabetes. We are looking for participants to form a team within their organization, churches, schools, community as well as students, families and friends. This event raises money to help our local Muskegon community residents and patients receive help in obtaining their diabetes supplies, strips, medications, etc. There are many in Muskegon County that can not afford to purchase these items and often go without taking their medication properly, if at all. So you can be assured that your money is staying local in our community where it is needed. All pledges/donations are tax deductible. This will be a fun-filled day of live entertainment, children's activities, exercie and great food. Registration begins at 8 am and the walk starts at 9 am.
