Western Avenue Muskegon, MI 49440 Phone: 231-728-3442 Event Description: You are Invited to the First Annual, Community Remembrance Harbor Hospice and Mercy Health Hospice are planning Muskegon’s First Annual Community Remembrance. Bringing together the elements of nature and the ritual of a memorial service, there will be music, readings and a bulb planting. This event will help individuals and families in our community to both mourn the death and honor the life of a loved one. The community remembrance will be held on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at 6:00pm at the Heritage Memorial Garden located at 545 W. Western Ave. Pam Babbitt developed the garden in honor of her late husband. It is a beautiful haven in downtown Muskegon and an incredible representation of the idea that when a person dies, the love for them does not. Our hope is that people will feel the sense of unity and understanding when adding a bulb to the Heritage Memorial garden in honor of their loved one.
