The goal of this class is to help participants learn basic GD& T language, such as: interpreting tolerances, material conditions, fits between parts, metric and inch conversions, GD&T symbols, feature control frames, and datum referencing, Emphasis is placed on learning basic GD&T requirements on a blueprint. Extensive practice is used to help participants learn these skills. Program Objectives ? Demonstrate an understanding of GD&T as a form of communication ? Interpret fractional, angular, and decimal tolerances ? Identify and interpret material condition symbols ? Interpret fits between parts ? Perform metric and inch conversions ?
