Date: 9/25/2015 Time: 10:00 AM TO 4:00 PM 8637 North Durham Road White, MI 49440 Phone: 231-724-5535 Event Description: At this quilting workshop, learn the basics of pattern cutting, piecing, and basic quilt skills. Participants will learn how to make a small sampler of a few classic quilt block patterns by hand. Jill Twiss-McFaddden, the owner of Quilted Memories in Montague, will lead the workshop. The workshop is open to adults of all ages with basic to advanced sewing knowledge. Youth 12 to 16 are welcome to come with an adult to work as a team. The fee is $80 which includes all materials, lunch, and park admission. Adults and youth working as a team will pay one fee and the cost of the second lunch. Directions: The workshop will be held at Michigan's Heritage Park in Whitehall, 8637 North Durham Road. US 31 Exit 128, left to the Comfort Inn.
