Clay Avenue Muskegon, MI 49440 Phone: 231-722-0278 Event Description: Over 80 examples of "tale tale" postcards will be on exhibit at the Lakeshore Museum Center. Tall tales are humorous stories of exaggeration and fictional accounts that are presented as the truth. The post cards on display use gigantic vegetables and fruits, farm animals, or wild game and fish for humorous effect. Dianna Stampfler, from Promote Michigan, will make a special presentation "Postcards to Michigan's Past" at 6 pm during the exhibit opening. Dianna will talk about her collection of over 100 Michigan themed postcards. This is a free event. Directions: The Lakeshore Museum Center is located at 430 W.
