Event Description: Children 5 and older are invited to learn more about owls at an Owl Pellet Dissection Open House at the Lakeshore Museum Center. Participants can dissect an owl pellet to discover what their Barn Owl has eaten. Owls are a top predator in the forests and fields of Michigan eating rodents, shrews, moles, and songbirds. The is a $2 fee for the walk-in program. Children between 5 and 7 will need assistance from an adult.
