Event Description: Help tan a hide at the Wigwam Village, process flax at the Settler's Cabin, wash laundry like a lumberjack and see how a treadle sewing machine works. Visitors will learn how Michigan's earliest residents made and cared for their clothing during this themed weekend. The event continues Sunday from 1 to 4 pm.


Directions:
Michigan's Heritage Park is located on North Durham Road in Whitehall. US 31 exit #128 the park is a quarter mile past the Comfort Inn.
