Western Ave Muskegon, MI 49441 Phone: 231-777-0422 Event Description: MCC’s second annual Community Family Fest moves to the Lakeshore Fitness Center, 900 W. Western Avenue, in Downtown Muskegon, on Saturday, June 3, from 12PM – 3PM. Attendees will enjoy an afternoon of live music, FREE PICNIC LUNCH, fun and educational activities including bounce house, giant slide, train rides, face painting, make-and-take crafts, games, chalk art, karate demonstrations, life-size jenga, gaga ball, free children's books, goodie bags, and much more! The whole family can participate in fitness center tours, family-friendly Pilates and Zumba classes, onsite body screenings, and an appearance by Jayhawk, our mascot. Plus, board the trolley that will loop and make stops at the new MCC Downtown Center for tours inside, which includes the Applied Technology Department and the Rooks|Sarnicola Institute for Entrepreneurial Studies. Along the way, MCC Historian Kurt Troutman will provide insight into Muskegon’s landmarks.
