Event Description: Learn about the eclipse that is coming up on August 21 with Michael Galvin of the Muskegon Astronomical Society. Dr. Galvin will cover: What is a solar eclipse What is a lunar eclipse What is so special about this eclipse When & where to observe this eclipse in Muskegon County What equipment is needed to safely observe the eclipse What other Muskegon Astronomical Society public events are upcoming This program is great for kids and adults. Special solar eclipse glasses will be available at the program as well. Brought to you through the generosity of the Friends of Hackley Library.
