Hank's Tavern

Awesome locally owned spot. I took my 4 kids here for dinner while I'm town for a family reunion and we all loved our dinner. The service was perfect and the food was delicious. I had the ribeye and my kids had Grilled shrimp, pasta and cheeseburger and everyone loved their dinner. We will most certainly be back her next year.

Hank's Tavern is a nice place for lunch or dinner. The decor is welcoming and the bar has upbeat vibes. I enjoyed the chicken enchiladas. They were packed with chicken. The rice and beans were not great though. The rice didn't really have a taste and the beans weren't rich in flavor. But I definitely think it is reasonably priced as this plate was around $10-$12 dollars which isn't bad! They have a lot of seating outside on their covered, shaded patio. The patio is surrounded by really nice flowers. Our waitress was kind and dependable. Overall a good experience but nothing over the top I would say.

My husband's been raving about Hank's so I'm so glad we finally were able to get there. It's an unassuming place but cozy with cute decor and a great patio in the warmer weather months. The food and drinks definitely lived up to the hype! Took a couple photos of drinks and appetizers but dug into the entrees before I got pictures. Everything was delicious. I'm definitely coming back for the boozy milkshakes. The hubs swears by the hobo special.

Definitely a place worth seeking out In Muskegon!

Bartender makes the best Old Fashioned! And the food is soooo good!! My sandwich was excellent!!

I am at a loss on how to describe Hank's Nachos with ground beef. First Nachos are usually stacked up, where these were individually laid out on a rectangle dish. The ground beef did not look like normal juicy ground beef but more like black gravel. I could not eat it. It was just off! The other dish at our table was Wings with a really great ranch dip. The fries were excellent. Hank's is known for it's good food, of course I will give it another try.

This place is one of the best kept secrets in Muskegon. Great menu! Lots of variety!
Service is quick and efficient. Great bartenders and servers.
Beautiful inside spaces and a great outdoor patio area.
My favorite is the Steak special (2for$28) and some of the best mashed potatoes and gravy I have ever had!

At last, I've found a great place to eat! Everything is excellent about this place; the food, the service, the whole atmosphere is nice, too. My brother had the wet burrito and I had the fish tacos. Both meals were outstanding. Fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. The presentation was outstanding. I am overjoyed that we found this place. One of Muskegon's little hidden gems.

Always have had great food and service. I wish they still had their Tex/mex lunch buffet.

We stopped here on a Thursday night after our daughter's soccer game. The atmosphere is fun and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Our server was fantastic. She explained the menu and answered all of our questions. My husband had the surf and turf with a salad. His steak was cooked perfectly. One of the best steaks he's had in the area. I thoroughly enjoyed the nachos with chicken. Our daughter had the tacos and said they were delicious. Overall we would definitely recommend Hank's and will be back when we're in the area again.
