The Station Grill

Please, when you see the waitress named Crystal please give her a raise or a promotion for her great work in her job. I went here on Saturday, March 9th after we couldn't find a way to see the UFC 299 in a restaurant we decided to give up and go to a restaurant to eat. This place had one of the best bacon burgers and had such good fries, better than arbys! So over all the restaurants style was like the 70's it felt nice! If Crystal sees this im the kid that told you to check the yelp reviews!

The Atmosphere here is an older Auto repair shop, turned into a restaurant. Plus a retro dinner feel added in. The place looks like it should be larger, but is somehow smaller on the inside.

I ordered the Macho Nacho Burger ($14.25), this is a 1/2 Ib patty topped with a melted mini nacho. It was very good. Juicy and gooey, with a crunch from the tortilla chips. Perfectly cooked using a very good piece of beef. I also got some Onion Rings ($3.75). They were good, maybe not the best ever, but a good side with a very good burger. I was with 2 other people and 1 got the Monterey Chicken ($14) and the other got the Sweet Chicken Salad ($19). They both really liked their meals. The salad looked generous and colorful.

The service was excellent. Efficient and helpful. The only thing slightly negative is they have tiny round tables for 4. We had 3 and it was tight.

Overall a 5 star review. Would I return? Yes, good burgers are always a up for a return.

The station Grill has some of the best food in Muskegon! I have never been let down on any visit there. Our latest outing was a special request by my daughter for her birthday. It was a Saturday afternoon when we visited and understandably, the place was busy. The interior is smaller than what you would think on the outside, but is cheerful with its string lights and 50s diner decor. We were greeted promptly and only had a short wait for a table. My daughter enjoyed an order of chips and cheese and chicken strips while I had a classic burger. Our companions had the taco salad and grilled chicken sandwich. The food came out promptly and everything was cooked perfectly. My burger was juicy and a perfect medium. The chips and cheese fully enveloped with melted cheddar. The taco salad first thing with ingredients and all special requests remembered. Our waitress was intentive without being pushy, and it was a lovely time had by all.

Slow. Slow. slow. Slow. Waited over an hour for food and we were seated right away. Don't come here if you're hungry..

Been loving this place since moving here over 20 years ago. They don't skimp on anything with the food, so plan on leftovers! Lots of menu options all with amazing flavor. This was my first time getting the nachos (buffalo chicken); my friend got the beef version... both of us left happy and full! From previous visits, the burgers are fantastic and they are also known for their burritos. Interior is a fun car theme (Corvette mounted on the wall) with cool lighting. Small tables, but totally doable... get cozy with your company. :) I do miss the old chairs, but the new ones are cool, too. Staff is ALWAYS sweet, helpful and fast. There's good reason this is a staple of Muskegon. Plan on a good wait Friday & Saturday evenings, probably during the weeknights too during summer. Oh, and they put in a new patio for outdoor seating!!! This may help with the wait... ;)

It has been a long time since I stopped into this great long standing restaurant. All these years Chris and His staff have maintained a constant food consistency that his Dad and Mom always demanded. Loved my Swiss Mushroom Burger with the Texas Fries. At the table were wing dings that we're fantastic. Always a busy place, clean with a friendly staff who are on top of things! There is a great outdoor space for dining by the fireplace.

Chili was outstanding. Will definitely be back next time I get up this way. All the food looked great... hard to pick out one thjng

One of the best burgers in town. Love the Texas fries with a side of hot and tangy sauce. Wings are great too. A staple in Muskegon for many years. Always busy but worth the wait.

The patio addition this summer looks great. These guys are BUSY. Come early or late for no wait seating.

Mix of American and Mexican dishes. Enticing atmosphere. Can order a half pound burger on lettuce without a bun and healthy sides.
