Go to the Event Page
- Visit the Muskegon Lakeshore Chamber website
- Navigate to the Events Calendar and select the Business for Breakfast event you’d like to attend.
Click “Register”
Log In to Your Member Account (you must be logged in to use this feature) –
- In the upper right corner, select Log In and enter your business’s username and password.
- Each business has one login and password, please reach out to mlcc@chamber.org if you need this information
Fill out the Registration Contact Page, then click Continue
Select the Member Ticket item, enter the quantity of tickets you need, then click continue
Fill out Attendee Information and click continue to payment
Last step, under “Use Member Benefits” dropdown, select B4B Bundle Pass and update the quantity to the number of passes you want to use. This should zero out the ticket price!
Then click submit registration
- You’ll receive a confirmation email once you’ve registered
- On your main profile in the portal, you can view how many passes you have remaining at any time in the benefits section.

Just over a year after opening its doors, The Corner continues to take shape as a multi-business, community-centered space in downtown Muskegon. As the building has hosted a growing mix of events and public activity alongside ongoing renovations, one space in particular has drawn increasing attention: The Stage at The Corner, the upstairs performance venue. Introduced through concerts, theatrical performances, and special events, The Stage has received consistent praise for how the space looks and feels — from preserved architectural details like the stained glass windows to a scale that works especially well for downtown Muskegon, offering enough capacity for full productions while remaining well suited to a range of audience sizes. Alongside that response has been a recurring sentiment from performers and audiences alike that the space was clearly designed with sound in mind, and that its acoustics — how sound carries, fills the room, and connects performers to audiences — are something that can only be fully understood by experiencing it firsthand.
That ongoing response has helped shape the venue’s next step: creating more intentional opportunities for people to experience the space while it’s actively in use. One of those opportunities is Sound Check: An Open House for Musicians & Music Fans.
Sound Check is a free, casual open house designed to give the community time in the space while music is actively happening. Rather than following a traditional concert format, the afternoon is loosely structured around artists moving through sound checks followed by short sets, allowing guests to settle in for extended listening or arrive and depart at their own pace. The focus is on experiencing the venue in use, not on staged performance or formal presentation.
The idea for Sound Check emerged through ongoing conversations between the venue and members of the local music and production community, including Michael Whitenack, a music business veteran and Creator/Director of the Destination Live Music series airing on Local Spins, and Rae Jean Erickson, a booking agent with Black Oak Artists whose work supports artists throughout the local and regional music scene. Those discussions helped shape an event that reflects how musicians, venues, and audiences actually interact within the live music community.
Live music during Sound Check will be provided by Kyle Brown, Post Fontaine, Christine Mattson, and Brooke Olejarczyk, offering a range of approaches that highlight the venue’s acoustic and production capabilities.
Admission to Sound Check is free and open to the public, welcoming musicians, industry professionals, and music fans alike.

SPARK! is a cultural program for people with early to mid-stage memory loss and their care partners. The program is designed to keep participants actively engaged in their communities by providing experiences that stimulate conversations, provide peer support, and inspire creativity through creative engagement, workshops, and programs. SPARK! at the MMA is facilitated by Nancy Armitage.

SPARK! programs are designed for families and care partners. Pre-registration required, limited spots available. The MMA is a wheelchair accessible location.

LARA requires that all builders complete 3 Con-Ed hours every three years covering Safety, Legal and Codes. Attendees will earn 3hrs CE credit upon completion of the class.

We start the 2026 half of the season with 12-string guitarist Neil Jacobs, whose exquisite style and technique have been enjoyed in his previous concerts of classical and world music. He will perform on Tuesday, Februarya 24, 12:15 to 12:45 p.m. at St. Paul's Episcopal Church. The concert is free and open to the public.

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the Feeding the Soul of the City concert series. We will celebrate with cake and punch on February 24 before the concert.

Dancing with the Local Stars Announces 18

th Annual Show’s Cast of Community Stars
MUSKEGON, Mich. – The Women’s Division Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that 42
new community stars including local dignitaries, business owners, and people of interest will comprise its
newest cast for the Organization’s Dancing with the Local Stars 18

th annual event. This event has raised

over 2.5 million dollars in the past 17 years.
The community stars will join 12 professional dancers to put on three performances in 2026: February 27,
evening; and February 28, matinee and evening. Emceed by previous participants, the show’s theme this
year is A Weekend in Black & White.
“In 2025, this WDCC produced event raised more than $276,000 with the help of our enthusiastic
dancers, the donations of our generous sponsors, and the donations from community members,” said
Co-chairwoman Mary Kendall.
Once again, proceeds will support local food pantries and food programs in lower Oceana, upper Ottawa,
and Muskegon counties.
“Between inflation and the fluctuating economy, one thing has remained constant– this community’s love
and support of others. Dancing with the Local Stars is the community event that everyone can count on
to make an impact in a fun and engaging way,” Kendall said. “Our mission is to give back to our
community by stocking the many empty food pantries after the holidays when they’re at their leanest. No
one in our community should ever go to bed hungry.”

“You could just feel the excitement and enthusiasm in the room as the 2026 community stars met their
dance pros,” said DWTLS Co-chairwoman Karen Mogdics. “We have been fortunate that each year the
dance teams have dazzled us with their commitment to the cause as well as their unique FUNdraising
efforts. We are excited to see how the teams this year will help us make a significant difference in our
community.”
Cast members will distribute community canisters throughout the area as well as organize a variety of
fundraising activities. Those funds will be collected and go toward team totals to win the opportunity to
have additional donations gifted to their favorite food-focused charities.
Evening performance tickets cost $75. Matinee tickets are $50. Tickets will be available to purchase
online starting Jan. 2 by visiting dancemuskegon.com.
