The book is “a comprehensive guidebook to Michigan Civil War sites "featuring: landmarks, markers, monuments, buildings, exhibits, forts, graves." David is a Michigan native and a past assistant director of the Monroe County Historical Museums. He has done research on the War of 1812, the Civil War, and General George Armstrong Custer.
