In 2026, Muskegon Community College (MCC) will reach a once-in-a-lifetime milestone—our 100th anniversary. For a century, MCC has been changing lives, strengthening the Lakeshore, and shaping the future of West Michigan and beyond. Throughout this centennial year, we have honored our rich history with a series of special events, culminating in June 2026 with our signature “An Evening with MCC: Centennial Celebration” at the VanDyk Mortgage Convention Center.

You're invited to experience this historic event - the grand celebration of Muskegon Community College’s 100th Anniversary, honoring a century of educational excellence, community impact, and student success. Guests will experience an inspiring evening filled with joy, connection, and hope while supporting MCC’s ongoing mission to advance educational opportunities, workforce development, and community growth across the Lakeshore region.

Held annually, the gala showcases the impact the college has made on the surrounding community through heartfelt testimonials. The event has already become a vibrant tradition, drawing together alumni, faculty, and community partners to celebrate the college’s enduring legacy and ambitious future.
